Happy Easter!
No egg hunts today, no church (the Kid is vomiting everywhere) Just a day to relax and think about what it means to me. Kaya had fun opening her basket from my Mother's charity club,Kaya was the winner of their Annual Prince and Princess pageant, and she made out pretty well...thanks Ladies! That was less money that I didn't have that I didn't have to spend! But.....Let us take this day to remember and honor it for what it really is. Jah Bless!

What Do Snails Do?
Last night, in the efforts of trying to get my BFF out to the door, so she could go home and make a Kosher meal for Passover, my daughter found a book. It's entitled "Animal Homes", one of those, lets educate out kids instead of letting them have fun, toys from Chick-Fil-A. In re-reading the book back to her, my daughter stops, looks around and says, what do snails do? "They just slime around all over the place" Classic line...you really had to be there to hear the way and the seriousness in her little voice. Gotta love that Kid.

Working
I hate it. I started a new job on the military base and I'm tired of working so much already! I get up at 4:30 to make sure that I am fully functional for my 6 am shift. Piss off! Then I have to deal with coworkers of mine who really don't wan to do anything besides myself and two older ladies. How does that work? Annoying is what it is!! But I'm no doing it for me but for my daughter and so she can have a better future. It's really easy so I guess I can't complain too much....then I go in to the Turtle at nights. Not every night though so that's kind of good! Get paper...stack that cheese

Saturday, it's Saturday!
I woke up feeling super refreshed after about 12 hours of sleep! Haven't done that in a while. I must say that I am quite happy where I am in my life today..I may not be tomorrow, but I am today. I had a ton of great dreams last night, although some of them did wake me a few times, eh...they were still awesome. I went to Puerto rico (I dream about that place ALOT) went parasailing, and I went to a Talib Kweli concert. Yes,yes and yes please! As I sit here and decide on my make-up ideas today for work...I wonder what today will bring....I just know that I got the drinks! LOL
