Working
I hate it. I started a new job on the military base and I'm tired of working so much already! I get up at 4:30 to make sure that I am fully functional for my 6 am shift. Piss off! Then I have to deal with coworkers of mine who really don't wan to do anything besides myself and two older ladies. How does that work? Annoying is what it is!! But I'm no doing it for me but for my daughter and so she can have a better future. It's really easy so I guess I can't complain too much....then I go in to the Turtle at nights. Not every night though so that's kind of good! Get paper...stack that cheese

Saturday, it's Saturday!
I woke up feeling super refreshed after about 12 hours of sleep! Haven't done that in a while. I must say that I am quite happy where I am in my life today..I may not be tomorrow, but I am today. I had a ton of great dreams last night, although some of them did wake me a few times, eh...they were still awesome. I went to Puerto rico (I dream about that place ALOT) went parasailing, and I went to a Talib Kweli concert. Yes,yes and yes please! As I sit here and decide on my make-up ideas today for work...I wonder what today will bring....I just know that I got the drinks! LOL

Shopping
I love and hate shopping. I wish I could do it more often than what I do for myself, but that's what happens when you have another person to buy for before yourself. It's better to do for others than yourself though right? My sneaker collection is still very much so HUGE (Thanks Jeff) My clothing...I still try to change many items with every season..but the past few, I've been chilling out...soon...New wardrobe every season...Haven't done that in a min. It will feel nice. Who knows, maybe by that time..I can have a guy to buy fly things for as well ?????
Single Yet Again.....
I don't know why I always find myself in this situation, I seriously feel like many of my post have been about me breaking up and getting back together with David lol. It's a sad story that has an even sadder ending. TRUST is a major factor in a relationship and if you don't have it then you pretty much will have a shitty ass relationship, period. I was continuously being told that I was doing things that I knew that I wasn't and just got tired of it. Time for me to do things for me. I gave so much time and effort into that realtionship that I feel like it was a waste of time in the end..well it acutally was. I learned more though, and that it was is important...education. Every relationship leads you to learn and get over things from previous ones. That's the great thing about them. So thanks David for all that you taught me. I wish nothing but the best. As for me...NEXT...lol

New Toys From KidRobot
After a crazy, crazy day and an arugument, I did something I never thought I would do, threw away majority of my toys =( the ones that really meant a lot I kept, but the little ones, I got rid of. BUT....KidRobot has come out with a few, that I wouldn't mind adding to the collection! (See Below)

Talib Kweli- Gutter Rainbows
The album opens with people discussing their dreams while passing around weed. The title track is hopeful, but it reminds the listener that the span of colors won't yield a pot of gold: "It's the voice for the voiceless/Hope for the hopeless/Spit game way too real, they don't promote it."
"I'm On One" is among the best tracks on the album, simply because the combination of lyrics and production is solid. But Ed Lover could have easily been left out of the song. His contribution is so loud, it's like he's a DJ trying to hype a crowd.
Aside from the hard beats and thought-provoking lyrics, there's an element of soul in Gutter Rainbows, like on "Mr. International," and "How You Love Me." The track "Ain't Waiting" has a ‘70's funk feel.
On "Friends and Family," Talib Kweli states, "You are now witnessing the demise of the music business," then he proceeds to talk about his many affiliations with record companies and how he eventually went independent.
Gutter Rainbows is a grand opening for hip-hop in 2011. Talib Kweli remains steadfast in his own lane, and reaffirms that real hip-hop isn't dead.
