SO, as most of us look towards Friday as our weekend kick off, for me though.....it's an 18 hour work day, followed by another, then another, as I am always working...even when it doesn't seem like I am, I am. I CANNOT wait until the day, that I don't have to answer business calls or look at rude people while making them drinks to get them intoxicated to be nicer to me...oh HAPPY DAY!

I loved you woman. You were there for me, sharing your words to me when I needed them in the lowest points in my life. Many people have told me today, that when they heard of your death, they thought of me and how much I always played your music. That makes me smile. When you first came on the scene in the US, I was telling EVERYONE about you and to take a real good listen because you were the SHIT! And they did, so did the rest of the world. I must say that watching you struggle with your issues, made me realize mine and really take heed and try and get myself better at the same time. We all go through things and have a choice to get better or not. I can't speak for you, but I chose to get better. My crazy drinking and drug filled nights were leading me to a path of destruction, jail, or death. So for that, I thank you. May all your troubles now be over and you can have the rest you deserve. People are going to talk about you, even after your death...but they have to realize and take a look in the mirror, what is it that they are doing themselves and do they seriously have any room to talk badly about you??

No egg hunts today, no church (the Kid is vomiting everywhere) Just a day to relax and think about what it means to me. Kaya had fun opening her basket from my Mother's charity club,Kaya was the winner of their Annual Prince and Princess pageant, and she made out pretty well...thanks Ladies! That was less money that I didn't have that I didn't have to spend! But.....Let us take this day to remember and honor it for what it really is. Jah Bless!

What Do Snails Do?

Last night, in the efforts of trying to get my BFF out to the door, so she could go home and make a Kosher meal for Passover, my daughter found a book. It's entitled "Animal Homes", one of those, lets educate out kids instead of letting them have fun, toys from Chick-Fil-A. In re-reading the book back to her, my daughter stops, looks around and says, what do snails do? "They just slime around all over the place" Classic line...you really had to be there to hear the way and the seriousness in her little voice. Gotta love that Kid.

Working

I hate it. I started a new job on the military base and I'm tired of working so much already! I get up at 4:30 to make sure that I am fully functional for my 6 am shift. Piss off! Then I have to deal with coworkers of mine who really don't wan to do anything besides myself and two older ladies. How does that work? Annoying is what it is!! But I'm no doing it for me but for my daughter and so she can have a better future. It's really easy so I guess I can't complain too much....then I go in to the Turtle at nights. Not every night though so that's kind of good! Get paper...stack that cheese
